An artistic weekend is coming up in Thônes, in Haute-Savoie.
Every year in August event THÔN'ARTS RECUP FESTIVAL' takes place with around forty artists, ready to awaken their creativity!

Collect – Recycle – Display!

The first weekend of August in THÔNES

The concept is simple and fun: a little steel, a lot of scrap metal and inspiration.
artistic!

More than one forty artists meet on Friday for the opening of
the “dumpster”. A dumpster specially dedicated to this festival, where our artists will find
different recycled materials such as scrap metal, steel, wheels, or objects just needing a second life!

These welding and grinder virtuosos will then have until Sunday to
make their sculpture with the selected materials.

The 3 visitors expected will be able to admire these artists in live performance
throughout the weekend, around the Espace Cœur des Vallées.

A exposure takes place in parallel inside the Espace Cœur des Vallées in Thônes.
This artistic event ends with the award ceremony, following the selection of a jury of
professionals, on Sunday.

The event is free to enter throughout the weekend.

Thôn'Art Récup is:

• 3 000 visitors expected over the weekend
• 100 artists have already participated in the festival
• Pierre Mermillod, the creator of this festival, a Thônain since forever
  (one of his works can be seen at the entrance to the town of Thônes).
