The Thônes Cœur des Vallées Tourist Office has been awarded the Tourism & Disability label (for all four types of disability: motor, intellectual, visual, and hearing) to ensure better accessibility for people with disabilities. Whether you need information on accessible activities, specific equipment, or personalized advice, we are here to support you and facilitate your exploration of our region. Our services
- Accessible parking spaces for people with reduced mobility are available near the entrance to the Tourist Office (see below).
- Accessible toilets for people with reduced mobility are less than 200m from the Tourist Office (see below).
- Guide to accessible offers given at reception or sent by email or post upon request.
- FALC (Easy to Read and Understand) document presenting the destination available on request.
- Reception staff made aware of the tools and documents available.
- Magnetic loop: Equipped with a microphone for travel advisors and an audio handset, it allows people with hearing loss to easily enjoy speech at amplified volume. Hearing aids can be fitted for greater listening comfort.
- Single-story reception area.
- Automatic opening doors.
- Reception desk accessible to wheelchair users.
- Elevator to reach the Heritage Museum of the Pays de Thônes and the Gallery of the Friends of the Val de Thônes.

PMR parking near the Thônes Cœur des Vallées Tourist Office
Parking is available free of charge, provided you display your parking permit, 50 meters from the Tourist Office. As there is no sidewalk for this short distance, wheelchair access to the Tourist Office is via the roadway. Please note that this road has a 30 km/h speed limit to ensure maximum safety for pedestrians and other road users. However, extreme caution is still advised.
