Qualité Tourisme Label

Qualité tourisme™, a welcome and quality services guaranteed by the State. In order to always better welcome customers and improve the quality of tourist services in France, the State has created the Qualité Tourisme™ brand. This brand selects and brings together under the same symbol the quality approaches undertaken for customer satisfaction in hotels, tourist residences, holiday villages, campsites, restaurants, cafés and brasseries, seasonal rental agencies, tourist offices, places to visit and outdoor activities. It is a sign of recognition for establishments that offer quality services, which customers can choose with complete confidence.

The Thônes Cœur des Vallées Tourist Office has been committed to this approach since 2013 in order to ensure a demanding and constant level of quality of service. It ensures the efficiency of its organization and a dynamic of continuous improvement towards its visitors, partners, socio-professionals and communities.

What are French tourism professionals committed to?
Professionals who display the Qualité Tourisme™ brand undertake to offer: a warm welcome; attentive staff; mastery of foreign languages; personalized services; clear and precise information; guaranteed cleanliness and comfort; discovery of a destination; taking your opinion into account.  

What guarantees are provided by the Qualité Tourisme™ brand?
To obtain the Qualité Tourisme™ label, the service provider must successfully follow a quality approach in accordance with the National Quality Commitments which represent the essential requirements for customer satisfaction. Professionals recognized as Qualité Tourisme™ are attentive thanks to the systematic analysis of satisfaction surveys and complaints. Their services are regularly subject to an unannounced and independent audit. These procedures allow professionals to continuously improve their services to always better satisfy tourists.  

As a tourism professional, can I be awarded the Qualité Tourisme™ label?
Yes! The following establishments may be labeled Qualité tourisme™:

  • Hotels
  • Holiday resorts & residences
  • Holiday villages
  • Campsites
  • Restaurants, cafes and brasseries
  • Seasonal rentals agencies
  • Tourist offices
  • Places of visit
  • Sports and leisure activities

Tourism Quality Standards

To obtain the Tourism Quality Mark, a candidate establishment:   
Must subscribe to the Brand values. Be classified if the regulatory classification exists for the activity (Hotels, Tourist residences, Tourist offices, etc.). Set up customer listening (processing of complaints, satisfaction questionnaire, analysis of e-reputation, etc.). Be audited on the basis of national benchmarks (between 250 and 600 evaluation criteria) by an external and independent firm at a regular frequency (3 or 5 years). Achieve a high level of performance during this audit carried out as a mystery shopper (minimum score of 85%).
